Sophos Nozomi Networks

Cybersecurity leaders Nozomi Networks and Sophos have formed a strategic partnership to bridge the gap between IT and operational technology (OT) security operations.

Under the agreement, Nozomi Networks Vantage—a cloud-native, AI-enabled OT security platform—integrates directly into Sophos Fusion, Sophos’ AI-native cybersecurity defense system. The connection gives security operations centers (SOCs) unified visibility and threat detection across both enterprise IT networks and industrial cyber-physical systems.

The partnership marks one of the first major third-party technology integrations for Sophos Fusion, signaling Sophos’ push toward an open ecosystem that aggregates specialized security tools into a single platform. A dedicated channel partnership will also allow managed service providers (MSPs) and security service providers to build new offerings on top of the integrated architecture.

The joint effort comes as critical infrastructure operators face escalating attacks from nation-state actors and cybercriminals. Because industrial assets are increasingly connected to remote management tools, many OT disruptions originate from initial compromises within traditional IT environments. Bridging telemetry between both operational domains allows security teams to detect lateral movement before industrial processes are disrupted.

“The intersection of IT and OT environments has long been misunderstood by the cybersecurity industry, leading to inefficiencies and potential danger for critical infrastructure,” said Matt Cowell, Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Nozomi Networks. “This partnership helps solve these problems by seamlessly integrating OT intelligence into IT security investigations so teams have the full picture when assessing their increasingly expanding attack surface.”

By ingesting Nozomi’s OT telemetry, asset intelligence, and threat data into Sophos Fusion, the system automatically correlates industrial data with logs from endpoint, network, cloud, and identity tools. Analysts can analyze threats across the entire enterprise without switching between separate management consoles.

Key developments delivered through the integration include:

  • Unified threat correlation: Ingests and links security data across OT systems, endpoints, networks, cloud workloads, and identity providers.
  • Context-rich investigations: Accelerates triage quality by matching industrial asset context with enterprise IT alerts.
  • Streamlined SOC operations: Cuts down on manual investigation steps and eliminates console switching during critical incidents.
  • Automated incident response: Triggers pre-configured Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) workflows across both domains.

“Defenders need every resource they can to combat sophisticated threat actors. This partnership helps security teams easily assess OT and IT vulnerabilities in one place, allowing them to take action much faster,” said Chris Bell, SVP of Global Channel and Alliances at Sophos. “Following the launch of Sophos Fusion, this is a testament to our commitment to bring best-of-breed security technologies into a single defense system for superior threat detection, investigation, and response.”
