PASAY CITY, Philippines — The country’s premier business-to-business beauty trade show, Cosmobeauté Philippines 2026, concluded its three-day run at the World Trade Center Metro Manila following unprecedented industry engagement and commercial activity.
The landmark exhibition featured more than 250 local and international exhibitors alongside six specialized global pavilions, attracting an estimated 8,000 corporate trade visitors and industry stakeholders.
Industry organizers reported that the gathering surpassed commercial expectations by facilitating major cross-border business agreements, corporate partnerships, and technical knowledge sharing across the Asia-Pacific wellness ecosystem.
Senior Vice President-Asia of Informa Markets Ian Roberts led the opening ceremonies alongside Javier Miguel L. Benitez, Chairperson of the Special Committee on Creative Industries, focusing on how the beauty economy drives domestic entrepreneurship.
The event operated under an official theme centered on inspiring innovation, embracing diversity, and shaping industrial excellence through cross-border collaboration and inclusive standards.
A core highlight of the exhibition was the debut of the Department of Trade and Industry Pavilion, which spotlighted regional Filipino manufacturing capabilities and domestic brands specialized in skincare, haircare, and fragrances.
The government-backed pavilion specifically highlighted locally manufactured, halal-certified goods aimed at expanding market reach into Muslim-majority economies.
Domestic companies featured at the trade platform included Aélva, Akasi, Aroma Avenue, Bamibini Baby, Clocheflame, Clyron, Cocobody, Dermatropics, Galenx, GIGA, HairReve, and Hair Works.
Additional participating homegrown brands included Honelle, Hyclens, Kera Luxe, K-Essentials by Katinko, Kinay Essentials, Kokuryu Cosmetics, Küchi Küchi, Aldrtz Pau D’ Arco Capsule, Nouve, Pili Ani, Protect Philippines, Raven Hair Spray, Scentsmith Perfumery, Skivios, and Snoe Beauty.
Regional trade integration was further emphasized through a dedicated Indonesian Pavilion, designed to strengthen commercial links and business networks within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The educational programming featured the Formula Care Conference regarding ingredient chemistry and the Farm to Jar Conference focused on sustainable sourcing.
Manufacturers also attended the Minamata Conference by the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines to discuss mercury compliance, while a separate Halal Conference explored global certification standards.
The daily schedule included live skill evaluations, beginning with an artistic hair and makeup tournament managed by the Unified Makeup Artists of the Philippines.
Subsequent corporate events featured a bridal makeup competition on the second day and concluded with the Beautelympics, which tested technical expertise in lash design and aesthetic services.
Informa Markets Country General Manager Rungphech Chitanuwat affirmed the gathering’s critical role as a strategic venue for local manufacturing companies to access novel packaging solutions and toll services.
Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines President Janina Tan reported that the domestic beauty and personal care market value is projected to grow up to 10 percent this year.
This anticipated growth follows a previous annual retail sales value of 320.85 million pesos, which marked a 10.1 percent increase that outpaced regional peer nations in the Asia-Pacific territory.
Market analysts attribute this commercial resilience to elevated consumer awareness surrounding sun care utilities, a young demographic, and an ongoing surge in digital commerce transactions.
Industry representatives noted that despite rising global fuel costs and inflationary pressures, local consumers have redirected discretionary spending toward online personal care purchases.
The domestic trade organization is currently cooperating with state commerce regulators to export these local cosmetic brands into international consumer markets via digital networks.
Following the close of the 2026 trade show, event planners announced that the expanded next edition of the convention will return to the same venue from June 2 to 4, 2027.
