Global Google Cloud engineering company Beyond has officially launched operations in the Philippines, establishing a local presence to provide domestic organizations with direct access to specialized cloud architecture and technical expertise.
The company celebrated its market entry with a launch event at Blackbird in Nielson Tower, Makati City, drawing approximately 150 guests from government, academia, the diplomatic corps, the technology sector, and the media.
The expansion into Manila integrates the local team directly into Beyond’s Asia Pacific delivery organization, led by APAC Delivery Centre Director Geoff Newell. The local presence expands an international footprint that includes existing hubs in Romania and Argentina.
“The Philippines is home to exceptional engineering talent, and we see a real opportunity to build here for the long term,” said Alan Paton, Chief Executive Officer of Beyond. “Our aim is to give organisations across the country direct access to the engineering expertise and Google-first thinking that help them operate and compete more effectively.”
Beyond specializes exclusively in Google Cloud technology, with technical specialists making up more than 75 percent of its global workforce. The firm designs and deploys digital solutions for international enterprises across three core technical disciplines:
- Artificial intelligence: Building scalable machine learning systems and data models.
- Cybersecurity: Protecting cloud infrastructure and enterprise workloads.
- Digital commerce: Architecting high-performance modern retail and enterprise platforms.
Beyond originated in 2023 following the merger of Manchester-founded Google Cloud partner CTS and technology firm Appsbroker, which initially formed Qodea. Following subsequent acquisitions that expanded its cybersecurity, engineering, and digital product capabilities, the consolidated business rebranded as Beyond.
Looking ahead, Beyond plans to aggressively expand its local engineering roster in Makati while scaling its enterprise client base across the broader Asia Pacific region.
