Converge FiberX Student League Ambassador Program

A mobile digital studio has hit the streets of Cebu, delivering high-speed fiber technology, esports arenas, and broadcast setups directly to aspiring student creators and gamers across Visayas and Mindanao.

The LimitlessXPRESS truck officially launched its regional tour on August 10 at Southwestern University PHINMA. The activation marks the latest phase of the Converge FiberX Student League Ambassador Program Season 2, following its initial launch in Cebu this past July.

The initiative aims to provide young talent outside the capital with the digital infrastructure needed to pursue careers in competitive gaming, podcasting, and digital content creation.

To signal the arrival of the campaign, the mobile unit traveled through major thoroughfares in Cebu, including Urgello Street, Osmena Boulevard, Fuente Osmena Circle, Carbon Market, Cebu Business Park, and IT Park. The route also passed key academic institutions, including the University of the Visayas, University of San Carlos, and the University of the Philippines Cebu.

Inside the converted vehicle, students gain access to interactive zones powered by high-speed fiber connectivity:

  • Esports Gaming Hub: Setups designed for high-stakes 1v1 gaming battles to test competitive skills.
  • Live Audio & Recording Suite: Professional live broadcast equipment allowing students to test podcasting workflows, create content, or record audio.
  • Ambassador Onboarding Portal: A digital platform where students can register for the ambassador program, earn rewards, and access brand opportunities.

The campaign is structured to break down geographical barriers for youth in regional centers who often feel disconnected from opportunities centered in Metro Manila.

“When students step inside the truck, we want them to feel that their dreams are valid and fully supported,” shared Sandra Tubale-Dingal, AVP and Head of Consumer Segment Marketing of Converge. “We built this truck hoping it sparks the inspiration they need to find their X and this is our way of bringing the Converge brand closer to their hearts.”

Converge executives emphasized that the roving truck represents a long-term commitment to regional infrastructure and youth development across southern Philippine regions.

“For us, our move to Visayas and Mindanao is not just an expansion, but is our direct investment to nation-building by giving the youth the opportunity to explore and enhance their potential so they can succeed and become the digital leaders of tomorrow,” shared JP Aguilar, SVP & Consumer Business Group Head of Converge.

“The LimitlessXPRESS truck is one of the most exciting parts of our campaign to date,” added Orange Ramirez, VP and Brand & Marketing Head of Converge. “We know these students are looking for their big break, so instead of waiting for them to find us, we decided to roll up and make it accessible to them. This truck aims to give the students a memorable experience of finding their ‘X’ which is the essence of this year’s campaign.”

Following its initial campus stops across Cebu, the LimitlessXPRESS truck is scheduled to expand its tour to additional educational hubs and student centers across Mindanao.
